So my dumb *** had my former customized MySpace profile so that it wouldn't show my blog listings.

I re-designed my page and I BELIEVE I left the same code that hides all my blogs.

(My extended network still shows, I'm fine with that)

BUT now I want my blogs to show!

I am usually very good finding the codes but I've been having bad luck.

I have erased, re-retrieve codes, switched names, ETC and still cannot find the code which hides my blogs.

I had a similar problem with my blog, I had a background code in there and there was a funky background jsut on the blogs, I think there may be a code in "custom style sheet" and "Your Own Header HTML" make sure there are no codes in either field!

There are multiple codes that can hide the blogs table, but this is the most recent, so if you locate it, delete it.

Yes, there have been problems with the msplinks not working again, %26amp; on profiles, there's really nothin you can do about it until they fix it. As far as I know, it still works in messages, though.

The reason they modify all links to msp is so they can monitor which sites you are linking to to make sure they aren't inappropriate or filtered ..

I don't think you really can. Just keep track of what codes go where and put big spaces in between them.

Probably you cant do it legally with the one you bought. Yes you bought it but putting it online is considered distribution which is a right you did not purchase.

You can try finding and contacting the people who did the song. Many times, especially if its a song which doesnt have a big sales base on its own, they will help you do it.

In any case, you will probably need a weblink to do it with. Uploading it to a webpsace someplace can do it. Check with your internet providor since you may have gotten a free webspace with your account.

You could also search the net for a sample clip of the song. Maybe sites that sell music will offer a sound clip of part of the song. You can probably use that

When you go to change your top friends there's a popup at the upper left of the page that lets you set how many people to be in that section. It can be up to 24 the last time I checked.

And of course, in the "About Me" section you could always just stick in a HTML table with links to your friends profiles. A basic primer on HTML (a web tutorial or a book) should give you the run-down on how HTML works if you don't know already.

Unfortunately lol, its difficult to hide your friends in social settings. I liked Yvettes idea. I always wondered where that code came from. Kudos. I even use it myself now. But you can never truley hide them. If you go to your own friends by clicking 'view all', you'll see a link at the top in the address bar. Thats your friends link. It contains your ID number. Copy that link minus the token part. Log out and paste that edited link into the address bar and press send. Tada! There's your hidden frinds. The only way to make that link fail is to make your profile private. But that doesn't protect you from desention frm within! lol. If they're your friends, that edited link will work because they have permission. I know, I have the same problem with people also. I partied for years and now I have sobered up. I know a lot of jelous haters. They like to gossip and tell people how bad they suck. Because I stayed trashed for so long, I was never able to delelop friendships with decent people who wouldn't do such a thing. It's the price we pay.

Go back and make sure you delete EVERYTHING.. u can do what I do...

Copy all of your sections into notepad or whatever so that you do not lose them if you dont want to re do them and then make sure every section is empty including layouts and the headline column. THen refresh your page several times. If its not fixed then go back and delete some of your recent HTML comments.. they also cause this issue.

If thats dosent do it then its on myspaces side because thats the only thing that it could be. Myspace has alot of errors alot.

Copy a YouTube video's embed code, then paste it into the bulletin.

Erase everything in the code that comes before "%26lt;embed%26gt;" %26amp; after "%26lt;/embed%26gt;". Then, click inside the url (it's in quotation marks), %26amp; in between the last character of the url, %26amp; the closing quotation, put

%26amp;autoplay=1

Now, change the width %26amp; height of the video's code to 1.

Your vid will now simply be background music for your bulletin! :)

-go to ur myspace home page

-on the right of your picture click on account 'edit profile' (its the first one listed)

-now your at the page where you change ur layouts and everything. kay, don't mess with that! there are three little dividers. 'personal info' 'groups' %26amp; 'comments'. click on comments.

- now you should see all your comments. on the bottom right corner there should be a delete clicky thingy.

here is the code that I use for Myspace .. it is very long and complicated.. it is set up to load whatever the default windows based player is for the computer of the person that is looking at it.

After each time you see the word 'value=' you will have to put your source inside those quotes. (I have a webradio station)

So, you will need to have your music files uploaded to a source for fileshare and in a format so that they are all in the same file.. for a lot of music, that would be a very large file.

I really dont know what you're talking about but if you're tryin to delete anything from your profile, you go to EDIT PROFILE and simply delete the codes of the "ICONS" you don't want. When you put them on there hopefully you put spaces in between each one. If you didn't do that it's going to be hard to determine which one is which. You might have to delete everything.

The most usual answer for hiding the last login involves hiding the entire block of text next to the image, and then spoofing it (making it say whatever you want).

It is difficult to hide just the last login.
