Help please!!! I am pasting html codes to edting profile and none if it is being grabed!! What happens?? SOS!!! Please!!!

Make sure your Cap lock is off!!! And then try typing in your code manually! If that don't work you can try deleting all your temporary internet files , history files and cookies! They maybe pretty full and can cause problems like that!

And be sure your pop up blocker is off, just to see if your code will work! and if then after all that you can't get in, they may have the site down for website maintenance and updating, but usually they'd say they are doing things to the site!

You should always get into the habit at least every 2 days to delete all your internet temporary files and history files, It really makes a difference on how well your computer works on speed and page openings! Once those two files get so full, it's really noticeable how slow things work! Keep an eye on your cookies too! they can cause problems if they get to full, but those you can pick and choose which onces you want to keep and the ones you don't! It's wise to keep the cookies from websites you visit often, but be sure to delete the duplicate onces though! you only need one each from websites you visit alot! They are dated so you can check them for the newest ones and delete the old ones! Cookies do get you into the sites faster then if you deleted them! A cookie is a compressed file of your information of who you are etc. so the site knows who you are! so it's quicker access! But you only need the ones for the sites you use a lot! deleting them doen't hurt your computer, it helps it working better!

Plus the sites will just put them back in, once you visit there website again! all websites put cookies into your computer when you visit there sites! but you can delete them any time you want! So keep a close eye on them too! Way to many will dog your computer way down, even if you have fast internet!

anyway, did you paste the html code in the profile editor than paste the html code they give you into the About Me: section?

You know, I've been having the same problem. But a friend told me to paste the code into your "About Me" section and it will take hold. It actually worked for me and I was able to change my background. Try pasting the code into the "About Me" section.

Without having very many details, it's hard to answer your question. But some possibilities could be:

- Your code is incorrect (check it)

- You're not pasting it in the right place (paste it in the "About Me" section)

Also, after you paste the code and hit "submit changes", a window will appear showing a picture with a bunch of scrambled letters on it. You have to type in those letters in the text box and then hit "submit" once more.

Where are you pasting the codes? I pasted one in the empty box where you type info ABOUT ME.

Dont forget to hit Save.
